Life and its continully juggling emails, text messages, family, and business is draining our time but also our brain power as well. This makes us less productive and hinders our social interactions.. We spend more time using media devices such as TVs, computers, cell phones, and ipods than we do anything else. Average time a day spent is about 8 1/2 hours. This is an digital overload that can actually change how we think and behave. Sleep is the one area of life that is overlooked the most.
There are ways that have been recommended to help you in letting your brain rest.
* Take a break from those devices- turn them off and have a conversation or go for a walk
* Get some exercise- staying fit maintains good blood flow to the brain
* Don’t skimp on sleep- it gives the brain a chance to repair itself

If you need some help with a good night’s sleep, please feel free to come by our showroom and give us a chance to give you an education on how a mattress selection can make a difference.

A quick alcoholic drink just before bed some refer to as a nightcap because people believed it would help them relax into a better night’s rest. But reseachers at Stanford University School of Medicine confirmed that alcohol before bed has exactly the opposite effect. Because it disrupts the body’s parasympathetic nervous system, which takes charge when we are asleep. Alcohol keeps your body from getting into full restorative sleep mode. You are likely to experience fragmented sleep and wake up too early, heart pounding. You are almost certain to feel tired if not even hung over.

Alot of people just don’t know when its time for a new mattress. Similiar to a favorite pair [...]

Alot of people just don’t know when its time for a new mattress. Similiar to a favorite pair of old running shoes, a mattress can still feel comfortable long after it has lost its ability to provide the proper body support. I have had customers say, ” I wake up tired and sore. I toss and turn all night but I fit in my mattress so comfortable.” Your are not supposed to fit in your mattress.

You know you need a new mattress when…

*You wake up in the morning with stiffness, numbness, aches and pains or toss and turn all night.

*You had a bettter night’s sleep somewhere other than your own bed (such as a hotel).

*Your mattress shows visible signs of overuse (it sags, has lumps, the interior is exposed, has dark brown spots, etc)

*Your mattress is 5-7 years. However with my mattress and the high denisty foam and comfort promises I offer 10 and 15 year warranties.

Customers who are convinced that firmer is better, be aware that research studies have shown with the high density foams and their propeties of even weight distribution and spinal alignment you can now have a little softer comfort level and still have proper spinal alignment and support. Sleeping on a mattress that are too firm can contribute to body aches by causing pressure points and interfering with circulation. The right balance of deep-down support and contouring comfort is what you should be looking for.

Give Us One Night…We’ll Give You A Better Day! I Promise!

There are some savvy mattress retail stores that are using the bedbug epidemic to explain to customers why comfort guarantees or comfort exhchanges as they call it are not such a good idea. They use the reasoning that who would want a mattress that has been slept on and in someone else’s house. Then they sell the mattress protector as the safe guard tool.
Here at Bedcrafters by Michelle, we offer the 90-day comfort promise. We do not exchange for another mattress, we take your mattress to the plant, adjust that mattress to fit your needs, and bring it back to your home the same day adjusted to the comfort level you have requested. This prevents the chances of bedbug risks and prevents the chance of owning someone else’s bed, ever.
Of course, we do suggest the mattress protector, its use is not to cover a used mattress but to protect the investment that you have made. The biggest reason for foam breakdown is moisture, examples being perspiration as we sleep, other body fluids, or animal fluids.
Give Us One Night and We Will Give You A Better Day! I Promise

Just wanted to let you know that we really appreciate the fact that no job is too small for you, and you made the mattresses for the surprise playhouse for our granddaughters. We had not told them or our son and daughter-in-law what the surprise was, and they all thought we had gotten a dog.

When they first saw the beds the oldest girl said “soooo cool”. They think its so cool to sleep in the playhouse.

We loved their beds so much that we got our own. Paul said it was the first time that he woke up without a backache for as long as he could remember. Thanks again for the good night’s sleep now and every night.
